About the Author
With a love of nature and broad-ranging metaphysical beliefs, Maggie Oster has spent a lifetime studying and interpreting gardens and gardening. She has a Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University and a Master of Science degree from Cornell University, both in horticulture. Her writing and photography have encompassed a wide range of topics, culminating in eighteen books, including Reflections of the Spirit: Japanese Gardens in America. She has contributed to books, written newspaper and magazine articles, appeared on television, and served as a regional editor for the website of the National Gardening Association. Many of her books and articles feature her own photography. Oster maintains her family's farm, including extensive food and ornamental gardens, in Indiana. She also operates a bed-and-breakfast in a cottage on the farm.

I buy 2 of these every year- a welcome addition for my hectic office. Very calming to display in the workplace. We also enjoy it at home and hang dried herbs next to it.
Beautiful calendar, but the publisher has filled half of the date boxes with text, making it impossible to track birthdays, appointments, etc on it. Perfect if you want something pretty but not functional
