I loved this book. It takes the very serious subject of long term care that no one wants to think about and makes it fun to read while still having very important information about the need and cost of long term care. This is a must read for people age 50+ or people concerned about care for their parents. If I could give this book 10 Stars I would!

This book was informative and quite the eye opener for those that need to understand how important having long term care insurance could be. After reading this book you will now understand how long term care insurance is not only a very important part of everyone's financial plan but a major ingredient to your retirement plans as well. This book addresses the important issues related to the reasons people don't/won't buy long term care insurance. I like the straight forward, in your face approach used by Robert Cochran. As an elder law attorney, long term care insurance will continue to be our nation's best defense against the rising cost of long term care.
Anyone in the market for Long Term Care Insurance (all should be, the earlier the better), should read this book, especially if you have already decided this insurance is not for you. Mr. Cochran takes almost every conceivable argument against LTC insurance and refutes those arguments with clear and convincing data. Get the book, then get the insurance!
When I first read the subtitle of this book I laughed out loud and I think that was the point of Robert Cochran's book! He takes a serious subject that few want to talk about (until it is too late!) and engages you from page one. This book is chock full of valuable information on Long-Term Care. He breaks this complicated, serious subject down in a witty, readable and understandable manner. This is a great, insightful read with actionable information.
This book gave me insights into the need for long-term care insurance in a way that also made me laugh out loud on many occasions. Each chapter pretty methodically dissolved my reasons why I thought I didn't need it. It was an easy read and well written. I highly recommend it, especially for anyone in the insurance business.
